I GOT this nail polish from Sally Hansen Yesterday called #peach of cake. I love the colour and it transfers on just as I hoped, but my God is it hard to apply! Over the years I’ve come to look at my nail polish applying skills, as pretty advanced. Eventhough this one has an extra wide applying brush and the bottle says “complete salon manicure”, I’ve never had such difficulties adding an even layer to achieve a perfect finish. I’m on my third layer now, and the stuff won’t dry! Aaargh!
OH S*! I must admit that this was kind of frightening at first – to hear my voice on video. I’ve never really liked that. Anyhow, I’ve found myself enjoying watching vlogs lately, so I thought I might do one as well. A lot of you have been asking about my hair routine and how I style my hair, so I thought that would be a good subject for a start. If you have any other subjects, guides, whatever you would like me to vlog about, please say! Meanwhile… enjoy! (I do say “ehm…” and “extremely” a lot, don’t I?)
I PICKED up a few new beauty additions today. 1.The Intensive Foot Rescue with peppermint, from The Body Shop is the best! I got it as a small tester a while ago, and it works wonders. I rub it on my feet at night and the next morning, I wake up with a pair of brand new feet… seriously! 2. The Lip Marker from Kiko was an experiment, but it turned out to be great. It enhances your natural lip colour, without looking like lipstick – to make the look more natural 3. I haven’t used hairspray in ages, but the Mediterranean klimate forces me to go into drastic matters. The high humidity turnes my hair into a frizz ball… I bought this because it looked funny and had three different diffusers.
HOW COOL are these new color.bug’s from Kevin Murphy!? They are non-permanent color blocks to rub on to your hair ends or use as high lights. I would really like to try them out! Get them here
