THIS POST is about being conscious about the clothes you buy, wear and discard. I don’t know about you, but I never throw out old clothes. If it’s not worth selling at a flea market or passing on to friends, I donate it to charity. This week I got a press release from H&M, encouraging all of their costumers to hand in old H&M clothes at their store at Amagertorv in Copenhagen from the 1st-3rd of May. The old clothes will be sent to emergency areas around the world where people are in need of clothes or sold at the Røde Kors shops throughout the country, allowing all profits to be send to aid workers and emergency areas worldwide. In gratitude H&M will sign every handed inn bag of old H&M clothes with a voucher worth 25DKK, for You to use at their store. I think it’s a great initiative and thought it would be nice to share.
